Water tanks
We have four hard nylon water tanks on Tarot.
I'm directing myself esp. to the professor, to find out who had them made in the past and if they would eventually still be available, as one has a rip just at the lid.
We can replace all four into two length wise stainless steel tanks, but I'm hesitating regarding the weight…...

Dear Mark
I believe most 37's have stainless tanks, and just a few have the plastic ones. Could other owners comment pls.
Do not think the plastic tanks are available any more, but it should be possible to weld the crack. Suggest you find a shop welding plastics, mostly they work with car bumpers etc.
Kind regards
Lars

Dear Geert
Forgive me, there are two 37's with almost the same name...

The tank materials is unknown, unless the manufacturer has put in some markings. Analysis required if you need to know.

If you would like to make a new tank polyethene is recommended, can be welded together from sheets, and would use the space better
Wishing you a pleasant Valentine's Day!
