Genoa Deck Car
Does any member have in their old parts cupboard an original Lewmar chromed deck car. We unfortunately managed to break one during the recent Swan European Regatta and rather than purchase new versions would like to keep everything original. You will notice in the attached file I have changed the sheave and also had manufactured two side cheeks to improve the lead.Photos attached

Did you try the Foulkes chandlery barge up the river Hamble?

I was recommended a local welder who has managed to braze the parts together. He said the Lewmar bronze quality was first class and the repair should be as strong as new. let's hope so.
Time will tell. rgds Alan

Yes, I have two complete and original Lewmar genoa cars for the 32mm track. It took a while to find them ...
