Water and diesel tank dimensions

Hi,

SWAN 48 water and fuel tanks.

We are are carrying out a minor refit on Sleeper X, we will take out the original tanks and clean and repaint the bilge.

Thinking about replacing the S/S tanks with new ones, mainly because once out it might make sense to replace, are there any original dimensional drawings of the water and fuel tanks for the Swan 48, Sleeper was built in 1971.

Dear Jonty,

the original ones have been built to last forever. If you have a leak in a welded point you can easily get a repair, consider it. It is unlikely you can have the same quality nowadays...
