Cowl Vent Replacement

Dear all,

this summer we finally managed to get a sheet tangled around one of the Dorade cowl vents that sit next to the mast, then rip the cowl vent out of its base and lose it overboard. So, three options ...

- does anyone know whether there is any chance of replacing a NicroMetal cowl vent (I believe it is the 5 inch diameter)?
- if the original cannot be replaced, has anyone found the most similar-looking type, so I can replace the pair?
- if someone of you needed to look for a similar replacement, it probably means that the same thing did happen to you, so if there is someone also left with a single vent, please contact me ... I'd rather have a used orphan than new twins.

Bonjour Martin!

Did you have a look at the Vetus cowl collection. There are lots of dimensions, and different mounting devices. They were probably standard on more recent Swans, at least they fit perfectly on our Soeur Anne but for the mounting ring. The old one can be used.
