lenght of boom on 411? hello, finaly we are sailing.
a question about the boom. my one is not original anymore and i think it is to long. measured from mast to the verry end of the boom it is 4,53 meter. when the runner is in place, the boom would hit the runner in case of a jibe. when i read in the specs, E is about 4,21 meter. also our main sail is on E 3,77 meter long. is the size of the boom ok? would like to have it clear between the runner and the boom. it is easy to shorten the boom in the front.
