Serge Check inside if there is a small recess on starboard side at the deepest point of the bilge.
On the outside just above top of lead near the keel trailing edge.
Kind regards

THANK YOU. What I see is only a square with no drain plug. May be it was clogged on purpose. What would be nice is to have a picture showing the drain plug in its exact place. |

Dear Serge, unfortunately I just have a pic of the detail (will send it later today), from outside, but not from a far distance, therefore it is quite difficult to determine the exact position. You should abrade the std side, get rid of the filler and you should find it, if it has not been sealed by a previous Owner. Fair winds. matteo (47/069 Vanessa) |

Dear Serge, Attached please find pictures showing the location of the bilge drain plug on Swan 38. The plug is located on starboard side, between the two aftermost keel bolts. Best regards Jyrki |

P.S. The two pictures above are of two sister Swans, but I assume the location is identical in both boats. In Infant the plug is faired and not visible outside. Jyrki |
