History and Provenance

Dear S&S Swan Association Members,

S&S Swan are unlike any other boats. They represent the perfection in design and building quality among any other production sailing boats, and they are destined to survive all of us, and for many future generations.

They are Works of Art, and as it is very important, for and art collector, to know the history and full provenance of a Work of Art, it is very important to know the history and provenance of a S&S Swan, and it will be even more important for future Owners.

Therefore, at the S&S Swan Association, we are now working on a "Provenance Project", which we know will be a very long one, it will take years to be completed, but we have a lot of patience.

We are looking for any kind of information related to our S&S Swan (name of original Owner, and following ones, delivery date, seas where they have sailed in, eventual accidents, restoration, historical photo...).

All information you will provide* will be strictly confidential between the Owner and the S&S Swan Association.

If you want to seal and improve the value of your S&S Swan and are able to help the Association with her history/provenance information, please feel free to contact us and tell us what you know about your S&S Swan.
