Varnish sheen

Hi,

I have Swan 47/049. I am doing interior varnish work. I am interested in knowing the "sheen" of the varnish used on the vertical surfaces. I tried satin... way too glossy. I am now waitng for a coat of matte to dry, but I just learned of "dead flat". sheen.

Does anyone know what the originigal finish was?

Bast,

Dear John,

Epifanes Rubbed effect is the perfect varnish, I think you could easly fin it in USA, if you want  a product similar to the original wax, dismissed today, Osmo Wax 3032 "clear normal"  is a matching product, used at Nautor from 2000 to about 2010.

Fair winds!
