    Clare Lallow is a well established boatyard on the River Medina at Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Founded in 1867, their reputation is based on traditional wooden boat building skills by master craftsmen - this is reflected in the superb teak deck that Lawrence Boarer of Lallows commissioned for my Swan 38 "Splash". Lallows also managed to refurbish and re anodise all the original deck fittings and blocks in order to keep Splash looking as original as possible.     Jamestown Boat Yard (Jamestown)

    During the winter of 2003/2004 my 1969 Swan 43 underwent a fairly extensive refit at the Jamestown Boat Yard in Jamestown, Rhode Island, USA. They performed a complete peel and new barrier coating on the original 35 year old bottom and a new Awlgrip paint for the hull. The project was done to a high standard and on schedule. Their care and knowledge for all vintages of Swans was reassuring and resulted in exceptional work. They maintain extensive records of various Swans and can usually repair or custom fabricate items no longer available.
