Cantiere Navale Pezzini (Viareggio)
After 4 generations and more than 100 years of experience in boat building and boat restoration, you can imagine they have accumulated a lot of experience.
(winter 2019/2020) They are rebuilding 47/069 Vanessa's teak deck and doing a major refit, deck and hull. My opinion: simply the best in the world!Recommended by: Matteo Salamon (47/069 Vanessa, 2020)
Velscaf: Nautor Mast Refit
Nautor, in the old times, built their own mast/booms/rigging. Their quality and craftsmanship is unrivaled (a pity they stopped building mast 15 year ago). So, if you want to give 40 more years to your original mast/rigging you have to send it to Franco Manzoli (Velscaf), In my opinion his knowledge and craftsmanship quality is as good as Nautor used to be. 2019 complete refit of 47/069 Vanessa's mast, boom and rigging.Recommended by: Matteo Salamon (47/069 Vanessa, 2021)

Ellos Teak Service AB"The company doing this new teak deck work for me is one of the most famous in Scandinavia: ELLÖS TEAK SERVICE AB in ELLÖS, the famous Island where the most prestigious scandinavian yachts are build. This company does the teak work for all the boat builder in the region. They also do other work such as modifications and reconfiguration of the deck as well as the interior. They have a great specialisation for this kind of job and a very acknowledged proficiency. I am very satisfied with their approach, their relationships to customers, their willingness to find solutions, and of course their work.
I strongly recommend ELLÖS TEAK SERVICE AB."

I have just had my boat Jaka (Swan 41, hull number 41) refitted in Plymouth, UK. This has included a new teak deck. The work was completed to a high standard and at a very reasonable cost. I would like to recommend the team responsible who are keen to work on more S&S Swans.

Clare Lallows, Cowes, Isle of WightClare Lallow is a well established boatyard on the River Medina at Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Founded in 1867, their reputation is based on traditional wooden boat building skills by master craftsmen - this is reflected in the superb teak deck that Lawrence Boarer of Lallows commissioned for my Swan 38 "Splash". Lallows also managed to refurbish and re anodise all the original deck fittings and blocks in order to keep Splash looking as original as possible. I am delighted with the results" Contact person is Lawrence Boarer Tel: +44(0)1983292112 firstname.lastname@example.orgRecommended by: Patrick Lund (38/108 Splash)

Jamestown Boat Yard (Jamestown)During the winter of 2003/2004 my 1969 Swan 43 underwent a fairly extensive refit at the Jamestown Boat Yard in Jamestown, Rhode Island, USA. They performed a complete peel and new barrier coating on the original 35 year old bottom and a new Awlgrip paint for the hull. The project was done to a high standard and on schedule. Their care and knowledge for all vintages of Swans was reassuring and resulted in exceptional work. They maintain extensive records of various Swans and can usually repair or custom fabricate items no longer available.
