S&S weekend in the Solent!
This June on the 8th and 9th the Royal Solent Yacht Club in Cowes is hosting the S&S owners club for the weekend.

Would any Classic Swans like to join?

It will be mainly social with dinner and a good social get together. Other ideas are a fun race, and visit to the boat museum possibly a peek at Brittinnia. If it genenerates interest then I will forward the details.

Sorry folks I had a brain storm, it's The Royal Corrinthian Yacht Club in Cowes, not the Solent which is in Yarmouth! June 8th.

Hi Andy,

This sounds like it could be a good get together. Unfortunately for us it clashes with a fairly full early summer of weekend races in the west country, so I regret we will not be there, shame as it would be good to meet more owners. Hope it all goes well.

Thanks for the info. It would have been perfect for us from Scandinavia. However, the 6 of June is too early and leaves too little time at the start of the season for us to be ready and to make the trip to the Solent.

Good to see you on the XOD at the weekend, I would love to come if the event is still on - Splash (38/108) should be back on the water by then so could do a social race.

It looks like we are going to be about 30 people from 10 boats for dinner at the RCYC Cowes on the 8th June.

All who are in the area welcome, 7:00 at the club.
