Classic Swans in Antigua maybe ...
Dear Matteo et al,

I am here at the Classics Regatta in Antigua... No Swans qualify BUT when asked the conveners said they had discussed this a number of times and were considering including us or having a special class for us. Maybe if Matteo put in a request from the Assocation it would help as well. That is assuming we want tobe recognised as Classics. If Antigua accepts us then i believe it will be easier for use in other Classic Regattas as well..

As for our S&S 40s it seems we qualify as some were built in wood. I have seen two 40s ( I believe) in Sweden.

It has been a long time since I logged on to this forum but am delighted to know you made it across the Atlantic. Hope you and the crew are all thriving, wherever you are now. Moksha is in Italy but winds are incredibly variable, either nothing or 30+ knots, so I don't know how long I'll stay.
Take care and a big hug to to everybody.

Dear Mike
You refer to Swan 40's built in wood in Sweden. Assume you think of Design 1767, which is denoted S&S 40, and not identical with Swan 40, which is Design 2025.
Season's Greetings to all

Hi Richard,
I have been wondering where you were!
Yes we had a great year of sailing! from Denmark to the Caribe with Stormsvale now in the US. We are getting ready for another crossing in 2015. The year away brought a close family even closer! So many experiences from three days of winds in excess of 50 nm on the way to the Canaries to swimming with dolfins in the Bahamas. Stormsvale as always more than lived up to expectations!
It was is hard to come back to our old life but our good friends have made re-entry easier!
Seasons Greetings from the crew of Storm Svale

Dear Lars,
I am sure you are right!
I saw one in Sweden and another in Denmark. I was told by another Swan 40 owner that they were a wooden version of us. I never got a chance to talk to the owners. We hope to see you next year at this time! Any word on a reunion at Nautor to celebrate their 60th? I emailed them but they have not replied.
The crew of Storm Svale wishes you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
