Paint color and lettering
Hello. We are doing a small refit on our 1977 built 47'. This will be the first time we are painting the hull. What are suggested white and blue colors, to replace the original colors from the factory?
Also, our lettering will be redone. As the name is also original, we are looking for the type style, to try to replace that as well.
Thanks for any help!
Philip

Dear Philip
Suggest that you try the "Search the Forum"-function using the keyword Awlgrip.
The lettering is a choice specified by the original customer. If members are not able to help with this, the style can possibly be found on the internet.
Kind regards
Lars

Dear Philip,

I can even suggest you to check with this website to see what kind of font this is: http://www.myfonts.com

Hello Philip,
We have just had our hull and deck painted on our 37 with 50% Snow White and 50% Off White from Awlgrip. This was following the advice from the forum here and I couldn't be happier with the colour. As for the strip I think Marlin blue is the original and would look great but I have gone for Royal blue, a bit like Matteo on "Only You" I think as it looks nice and might be a bit easier to find upholstery and UV material for dodgers genoa strips for ect. The stripe is not painted just yet but I will try to put some photos soon.

Alwgrip G line, Stark White and Marlin blue.

I'm sure whichever colour you choose, she will look fantastic.
