Fridge
Hello,

I think it is time to replace the old fridge unit on "Chanchullo" It is an Engel that works ok but is very old and with the new "wrong" gas is very inefficient.
I have seen the Isotherm SP system and in theory it should be great. Does anyone have any experience with it? Does the seacock foul up too much?
I am not near the boat for a few more months so won't be able to measure the box before I buy the unit. Does anyone know the volume of a Swan 37 fridge? I am not sure how the insulation is but recommendations as to the size of refrigeration unit and plate would be greatly appreciated. We are in the canary islands now and think to sail in warmer waters as much as possible.

Happy sailing!

Fletch

Dear Fletch
Can not find information about insulation thickness, a guess is 40 mm. Suggest you check the condition, maybe it would be time to replace it.
Kind regards
Lars
