Electric autopilot
Who has experience with Electric Pilots ob swan 40? Which one is possible? Etc.

I have an electric auto pilot on my Swan 43. If you go to the maintenance section for Swan 43 and go to "Electronics" you will see it.

I used a Whitlock electric autopilot which was subsequently bought out by Lewmar and I think it may have changed hands again. It is controlled by a Simrad brain.

My autopilot has no hydraulics, the quadrant is directly actuated by the electric motor below decks. Has been flawless since I installed it 13 years ago. The Professor had an update on who makes the electric motor now in a forum string in the last year or two.
