Steering suede leather

Hi there from a hot Salinas Puerto Rico .I must change the leather on Abracadabra wheel .She is a 47/33 regular wheel/suede in gray, but after 17 years this will be the first time for that.Any fellow 47 owners or skippers that have done that to give me idea where to start my search.

I am all ears ,thanks for the forum

When I had the same problem I bought a kit from Seadogs Boat:

and I was very happy of the result.

I have done the same as Daniel -- the kit comes ready to use, including all the tools with the exception of scissors for the thread, and it is really easy to work. Can only recommend it.
