Ocean Globe Race Whitbread 2023

Any comment regarding the announcement of the new/old Whitbread? Swan class, as you can check, will be priveleged. And all this is very correct!

hello,

the Swan class will be very represented in this race !

I alredy knew where was a pair of Frers 651 (Futuro & Second Wind ) and a Frers 59 (Alegria from Jean Le Cam), two Frers 51 (Eira & Zobaida) and a 53 (Allspice ?)...

For the Spakman & Stephens classics : two 55 (Galiana & Nakamal), and four 65 (Translated 9, Evrika, Kakenas, and ?)

 I just discovered an S&S 57 "White Shadow" (hull 004) in refit close to Algol in Barcelona ! (I did visit White Shadow in Roma before buying 007...)

I will share with them all the refit experience from 007 Algol to give 004 the best chances to complete this adventure...

Dear Yves,

a good idea, just ask you to keep info related on Members of the Association.

There are a couple of S&S Swan which are participating, and have been invited to become Member, and "...kindly..." replied they are not interested in the S&S Swan Association (but contacted us to get drawings, info, etc. for their refit program...), therefore the S&S Swan Association is not interested in their activity.

We have been helping S&S Swan Owners (Members) for more than 20 years, we have the biggest database of information, drawings, etc., available to Members. Our activity, as you know is free and it will be forewer, but to Members only.
