2010 Swan Cup (Sardinia) Dear S&S Swan Owners and Friends
the Swan Cup is now over. It was a great week, the only complain is with the weather, which did not allow us to race on two days (no wind and too much -it was too much for a few boats, not at all for the indomitable S&S Swans...-).
At sea SHIRLAF, Peppe Puttini's Swan 65 placed second place (first of the Associated) behind a non member's 65, while Peter Terrel and Charles Blakeney's ESPALMADOR, an immaculate 43 has been awarded the Best Maintained Swan by Simon Turner, who travelled to Porto Cervo from Spain to award the fantastic prize, a beautiful painting offered by marine artist Luca Ferron.
