Swan 47 and New York YC 48
Can anyone tell me differences, if any, between the Swan 47 and the New York YC 48

Thanks in advance

NYYC 48 is basically a 47 CB, version II,  with aft entrance

The NYYC 48 is a Swan 47 with the following changes:
1 ton more displacement as shallower keel and more ballast
stainless steel centreboard
mast 2ft shorter for intercoastal waterway
longer boom
accomodation moved 2 foot aft which means wider saloon, larger heads and forecabin and smaller aft cabin
larger tanks
I am biased as I own one, but I think this is SS at their best. Great cruising capability with shallow draft, combined with similar stabilty to deep keel boat and great racing performance - we were 5th in the competitive Swan Cup this year on Black Tie.
For more information, Arthur Beisier, the author of the Proper Yacht bought one new and wrote about her.

Mateo,

is it possible to see or receive in email the hull lines of both 47 and 48 to compare them?

Tx in advance, good winds!

Dear Jan,
I am sorry but you have to ask for the lines to Josephine Ilagan, at the S&S Inc. office in NY City
