Swan 40 IRC measurement

Hi all,

I'm just about to relaunch my newly purchased '72 Swan 40 #44 "Aelana" and in anticipation of this years racing season am completing an IRC application form.  Have any other Swan 40 owners obtained an IRC TCF and could assist with bow/stern overhangs and h & y measurements?  I've tried taking and scaling dimensions from a low res plan diagram but the LWL ends up as 8.83m rather than the Nautor specification of 8.70.

I'd also love to hear from anyone who has experience of, and could offer advice on optimising classic Swans for IRC - particularly sail wardrobe selection.
